Ready for the Rapture?
"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son
of man cometh." (Mat 25:13)
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy
to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Luke 21:36)
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (I Cor.15:51-52)
“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which
are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even
so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and
so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (I Th.4:13-18)
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we
should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons
of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we
shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” (I John 3:1-3)
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself
for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
(Tts.2:11-14)
“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch
unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use
hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another,
as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister,
let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be
praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (I Pet.4:7-11)
